FAQ for Long Lashes and Bold Brows
1. What is the difference between Long Lashes and other eyelash enhancers?
Long Lashes is HORMONE-FREE. It does not contain prostagladin which is commonly linked to side effects such as - change in iris colour, darkening of eyelid colour, inflammation around the eyes, dry eye, redness, itching and watering.
Prostagladin is Bitamoprost. Other synthetic prostagladins commonly used in serums are: Isopropanol Phenyl-hydroxy-pentene Dihydroxy-cyclopentyl- heptenate (Isopropyl cloprostenate); Dechloro Dihydroxy Difluoro Ethylcloprostenolamide and Trifluoromethyl Dechloro Ethylprostenolamide.
2. Switching from prostaglandin-based serums to natural serum
When your lashes become accustomed to this external supply of hormones, your lashes may shed rapidly when you stop using the product. Why? Your lash follicles are trying to return to their natural function without the added hormones.
That's why we recommended waiting at least 3 months when switching from a prostaglandin-based serum to our Lash & Brow Enhancing Serum. This will give enough time for your lashes to return to normal and start a new, healthy growth journey.
3. What if I wear contact lenses?
We suggest using Long Lashes at night, after you have taken your lenses out for the day.
4. What if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
Long Lashes and Bold Brows has not been tested on pregnant or breastfeeding mothers, therefore, please consult your physician first.
5. What if I’m having cancer treatment?
Always check with your treating doctor first. We recommend you wait 6 months after your final chemotherapy treatment before using Long Lashes / Bold Brows as it may restrict the product from working to its full potential.
6. What if I have eyelash extensions?
You can still use Long Lashes even with eyelash extensions, however, please wait 2 days after having your extensions applied, to ensure the glue has dried properly. Remember to apply the product to your eyelid skin and not your actual lashes. By applying Long Lashes every second day, the vitamins will help strengthen and lengthen your own lashes to create a support structure to attach the extensions to, all whilst protecting your own lashes from the glue and weight of the extensions.
7. What if I have eyebrow embroidery?
You can use Bold Brows 10 days after your eyebrow embriodery, to ensure that your skin is healed. By applying Bold Brows, you will have even fuller looking brows to complement your brow embroidery.
8. What if my eyes become sensitive?
Although our ingredients are gentle, some people may experience mild sensitivity when commencing use of Long Lashes, if this occurs it is usually due to over applying the product, so please cease use until symptoms have subsided. Once the eye area has returned to normal you can restart use of Long Lashes, but ensure you wipe the excess liquid off the brush before applying and try every second day. Your results may take a little longer, but they will still work. If your eyes are still sensitive to the product we recommend discontinuing use.
9. When will I see results?
You should start to notice results within 4-8 weeks with the full effect taking place around 12 weeks. After this period, we suggest you apply Long Lashes / Bold Brows every 2 days for maintenance, to keep your lashes /brow hairs long and full. If you stop using the product, your lashes/brows will eventually return to their prior natural state, so keep applying it regularly for optimum results.
* results may vary with each individual and medical conditions may slow results
10. What is the difference between Long Lashes and Bold Brows?

11. How long can a tube of Long Lashes / Bold Brows last if I use once a day?
